Features
We have investigated main three dimensions underlying human affective processing. Our neuro-imaging studies have found that the Evaluation dimension is related to the orbitofrontal cortex, the Activity to the auditory association areas, and the Potency to the somatosensory and motor areas.
We have also developed a new method, Modality Differential Method, useful for analyzing human affective processing in relation to the multimodal sensory processing.

Targeted Application(s)/Industry
Our study can be applicable to assess various problems and disorders in emotion, affection, and cognition by profiling the individual characteristics on the three main dimensions. The findings revealed by our method can be useful and supportive for promoting mental well-being.
