Cooperative Distributed Knowledge Processing and its Applications towards Cyber Society

Toward the intelligent information space (cyber society) which supports various cooperation and collaboration of human beings and artificial systems, we are promoting the research and development of cooperative distributed knowledge information processing based on ICT technology. We aim to realize smart applications such as user-oriented information retrieval and utilization services, intelligent networking for various communications, and an intelligent living environment based on agent-based IoT technologies, by using autonomous intelligent entities called agents.

Targeted Application(s)/Industry
The following applications would be expected, i.e., an ICT application which has robustness and flexibility against the changes of the system’s environment; the agent-based IoT and M2M applications; the cooperation technologies and/or middleware for smart robots (and/or software agents).
