The quantum information and communication technology (QICT) is expected to overcome the difficulties that classical information technology is confronted with. Quantum entanglement carried by photons is one of the most fundamental resources in QICT. We have been developing efficient, high-quality entangled photon sources utilizing semiconductor materials and quasi-phase-matched optical nonlinear devices, with a number of patents awarded.Targeted Application(s)/Industry
