I am doing empirical research in the vocabulary in Modern Japanese, focusing mainly on the senses and usages of nouns and verbs, based on evidence from corpora. I am also interested in the theoretical side of the corpus studies and the use of corpora in other languages, such as English. I am on of the pioneers in this field in Japan.Targeted Application(s)/Industry
